  • System Management task using "System Management Interface Tool" (SMIT)
  • Volume Management: design, create and manange LVM, Monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Software installation support: installation of standard and non standard software.
  • System backup and disaster recovery, including supporting common backup softwares like netbackup etc.
  • Troubleshooting with regards to day to operational issues including:

  •   Vendor escalation support: escalating calls to IBM and various application vendors.
